1st Shift Quality Technician

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our commitment to exceptional quality standards. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all inspections are carried out accurately, aligning with product quality specifications and exceeding customer requirements. This role is essential in upholding our reputation for excellence and precision, as well as in supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay:$22.00 – $27.00 per hour/BOE
Hours:6a-2p
Essential Functions
  • Inspects parts that are being produced
  • Provide support to production operations constantly ensuring operators have necessary parts
  • Ability to effectively read quality control equipment; Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gage, Radius Gage, Protractors, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Software including Outlook, Word and Excel
Required Qualifications
  • High School/G.E.D. education
  • 2+ years of experience in a Quality role
  • Able to follow quality standards and procedures
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and prioritize needs, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the company
  • Ability to use computes and basic programs to document
  • Physical strength required to handle and move parts, boxes, equipment, etc.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintain work center organization
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machines and other related equipment to consistently drive efficiency and high-quality parts
  • Follow all safety rules of the company
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 plus years of experience in steel tube industry
  • Able to read prints
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations is a plus
  • Problem solver who identifies opportunities for improvement with solution paths
