Comprehensive Tube Bending Services

Precision Tube Bending Services

Tube bending firms are a dime a dozen; so what sets us apart? By pairing the bending operation with our laser tube cutters, we reduce the production of featured parts from an average of six operations down to just two by eliminating extraneous saw, deburr, and punch operations. Compared to traditional methods, Fraser Steel’s custom tube bending services are faster and more cost-effective. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer in Albertville, Minnesota, we deliver precision tube bending in steel and aluminum for OEMs, from prototype quantities through full-scale production runs.

Precision CNC Tube Bending Capabilities

Our benders can handle virtually any shaped tube, including round, oval, rectangle, and square. With the addition of our large-capacity, rotary-draw tube bender, we can bend up to three-inch round tubes to the customer’s exact specifications. The “big bender” can handle a maximum centerline radius of 18 inches. Most other bending plants can’t come close. From CNC tube bending to custom steel tube bending, our services offer quick turnaround and innovative solutions.

With a combined 90 years of experience, our bending engineers and technicians can facilitate the production of complex components with ease:

  • Single and multi-plane tubes
  • Varying wall thicknesses
  • Mandrel and rotary draw bending
  • Variable radius bending
  • Custom steel and aluminum tube bending
  • CNC tube bending paired with in-house laser tube cutting

Materials and Specifications for Bent Tube

Fraser Steel bends carbon steel tubing, including HSLA, dual-phase, ERW, and DOM, along with aluminum tubing. We build to customer-specified ASTM standards such as A513 and A500, and our materials page lists the full range of tube specifications we process. If your drawing is not final, our engineers can help you weigh strength, formability, weldability, and cost before production begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Fraser Steel’s tube bending services more efficient than traditional methods?

We pair our bending operation with in-house laser tube cutting, which reduces production of featured parts from an average of six operations to two. Eliminating separate saw, deburr, and punch operations means faster turnaround and lower costs than traditional tube fabrication methods, and both operations run in our Albertville, Minnesota facility.

Our benders handle round, oval, peanut, rectangular, and square tube in steel and aluminum. Send us a print or CAD file with your tube size, wall thickness, and bend radius, and our engineers will confirm whether we can bend it to your specifications.

Yes. Our bending engineers and technicians, with a combined 90 years of experience, produce single and multi-plane tubes, parts with varying wall thicknesses, and variable radius bends. We offer both mandrel and rotary draw bending, plus custom steel and aluminum tube bending for complex OEM components.

Fraser Steel bends tube for OEMs in automotive, exercise equipment, hardware and hydraulics, lawn and garden, medical equipment, recreational vehicles, furniture, solar, retail displays, agriculture, and data centers. Our engineers adapt to each industry’s needs, supporting prototype quantities through full-scale production runs.

Yes. Our engineers work closely with customers to design parts that work better and more economically, which is why we call ourselves The SWAT Team of Tubing. Send us a print, CAD file, or sample, and we will help confirm the material, specification, and bend details before production begins.
